- IUPAC ---- The International Union for Pure and Applied Chemistry promotes the practise of chemistry throughout the world.
- AWMA ---- The Air and Waste Management Association is a nonprofit, nonpartisan professional organization that enhances knowledge and expertise by providing a neutral forum for information exchange, professional development, networking opportunities, public education, and outreach to more than 8000 environmental professionals in 65 countries.
- SEANAC ---- Southern and Eastern Africa Network of Analytical Chemists, a society for chemistry students and practising chemists in Africa.
- FASC ---- The Federation of African Societies of Chemistry aims at promoting the advancement of chemical sciences and the practice of chemistry that could be instrumental to the fulfillment of the development aspiration and objective of the people in Africa.

BMSS ---- The British Mass Spectrometry Society is a registered charity founded in 1964; its aims are to encourage participation in all aspects of mass spectrometry on the widest basis, to promote knowledge and advancement in the field and to provide a forum for the exchange of views and information.
BBRSC ---- The Biotechnology and Biological Sciences Research Council is the UK's leading funding agency for academic research and training in the non-clinical life sciences.
SfAM ---- The Society for Applied Microbiology is the voice of applied microbiology and the UK's oldest microbiological society. To this end, SfAM works in partnership with sister organisations and microbiological bodies such as FEMS (The Federation of European Microbiological Societies) and the Biosciences Federation (BSF) to ensure that microbiology and microbiologists are able to exert influence on policy-makers within the UK, in Europe and world-wide.
Biochemical Society The Biochemical Society promotes the advancement of the Molecular Biosciences, representing the interests of all those working in the sector. The Society recognises that the discipline of 'Biochemistry' now encompasses the entire breadth of Cellular and Molecular Life Sciences.
Society for General Microbiology The Society for General Microbiology (SGM) was founded in 1945 and is now the largest microbiological society in Europe. It has over 5000 members of whom 75% are resident in the UK.

The Society for Applied Spectroscopy is a nonprofit organization formed to advance and disseminate knowledge and information concerning the art and science of spectroscopy, and other allied sciences.
AAPS Pharmaceutica----The American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists provides a dynamic international forum for the exchange of knowledge among scientists to enhance their contributions to health.
ACA----The American Crystallographic Association Inc is a non-profit, scientific organization of over 2,200 members.
ASBMB----The American Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology is a membership and publishing society.
ASMS----The American Society for Mass Spectrometry was formed in 1969 to promote and disseminate knowledge of mass spectrometry and allied topics. Membership includes over 7,000 scientists involved in research and development. Members come from academic, industrial and governmental laboratories.

SETAC ---- The Society of Environmental Toxicology and Chemistry is a not-for-profit, worldwide professional organization comprised of individuals and institutions dedicated to the study, analysis and solution of environmental problems, the management and regulation of natural resources, research and development and environmental education.
EuCheMS ---- The European Association for Chemical and Molecular Sciences is a non-profit-making organisation; its object is to promote co-operation in Europe between non-profit-making scientific and technical societies in the field of chemistry and molecular sciences. EuCheMS is an Associated Organisation of IUPAC.
